 Outskirts Team Rides and SAG Support

Sherry lead a great team for the Tour De Cure April 25, 2009 at Murray Park in Little Rock. We exceeded our goal for the American Diabetes Assn.  Everyone had a great time. 

River2 River Memorial Ride Update.
Day 1: The ride has started in Fort Smith under sprinkling conditions and 6 riders. The challenging ride was a lot of uphill climbs. Bless Herman everyone for the tremendous fall that was hard enough to only hamper his feelings. Todays ride goes to Clarksville.
Day 2: Picked up another rider today making it 7. Stopping to night in Morrilton.
Day 3: Todays ride through Conway was amazing with Police escorts every where. At the USS Razorback all 9 riders were met by James Parker outgoing State Commander from the Arkansas DAV where they were given the State Commanders Challenge Coins.  Sherry rode the event today whilst Herman drove the Outskirts Team SAG vehicle.
Day 4: Hello Brinkley here we come. Thanks Brinkley, the Town donated greatly to the Fort Roots group.
Day 5: The big finish in West Memphis. The ride completed with 6 riders, over all 5 riders rode the entire 294 mile trip.

Thanks to the supporters along the route. Ride organizers said the ride was a great sucess with the proceeds going to the Arkansas DAV.  Work is underway for nextyears ride.

Our next event is Tour de Rock June 13. Team riders and SAG Support.

Central Arkansas Recreational Peddlers - C.A.R.P. Membership Applications are now in the shop. They are $10.00 for 1 Year. A requirement if you want ride the trails of Camp Robinson and avoid the fine. A C.A.R.P. Membership is a must. Kit includes membership card and trail map.
